뜨루와 대성당 (Troyes cathedral)

뜨루와의 주교좌 대성당은 외벽을 장식한 열두사도 성상들이 모조리 파괴되어 있다. 심지어 부조성상도 심하게 훼손되어 있다. 프로테스탄과의 종교 전쟁의 참상이다. 당시에 성주가 강령한 천주교 신앙을 갖고 있었던 곳은 그래도 덜했는데 그렇지 못한곳은 수많은 사람들이 죽고 성상들이 훼손되었다. 이 성당은 12세기경에 건축되었다. 최초에 고딕성당이 출현한 것이 12세기 초기 였고 13-15세기에 걸쳐 절정을 이루었다.
